Venture Hacks FinTech is an ongoing series of hackathons sponsored by the Stevens Venture Center. In our fifth installment of Venture Hacks, we aim to tackle issues within the FinTech industry. Students of various backgrounds such as business, financial, and software experience are invited to participate, and must collaborate effectively to form a sound solution.
This event takes place over the weekend of April 6 - 8th. Check out our schedule at venture-hacks.com/apply for more details. Be sure to stay tuned for future installments. Let's start something!
Eligibility
Freshman and sophomore students of any university near the Hoboken area are welcome to participate.
Requirements
Hackers must focus on building business solutions that they can prove the validity of. This will generally involve constructing an MVP of their product and forming a pitch deck showcasing the strenghts of their solution and why it applies to the problem at hand. Emphasis is made to avoid building projects that do not solve any particular solution or pain.
